Natural shade
This is the type that is easiest and most thailand number dataset to master as it gives you the best advantage of using a single light source to get this shadow. It will add drama to your product by appearing barely visible under the product. The steps to apply this type of shadow are
First you need to create a new layer and fill it with a white background
Now move this to the bottom.
Duplicate the layer so you have two layers in total.
Select the area and give it a graceful look by refining the edges.
Now it's time to create the mask, which will depend on your choice.
Change the duplicate layer option to multiple using the top left tab of the layer dialog box.
Now use this multiplied layer to create the mask.
To make everything smooth, you will certainly use a feather brush and finally level the layers.
Falling shadow
This is the shadow known for giving the illusion of a sunlight shadow on the product. This shadow mimics this so well and gives a natural and real look to the product image. This style of shadow works better on smaller items like flatter purses and clutches.
The steps are
Create a new layer and fill it with a white background.
Move this new layer to the bottom.
Ensure tight selection around the bag. Don't forget to enhance the edges.
Shape the mask according to the area selection.
Now, to open the layer style window, double-click on the bag layer.
A shadow will appear in the drop shadow box. Check this by opening it.
Adjust the opacity to your preference, changing it two or three times or more if you don't get the right match.
Now you need to change the angle of the shadow so that it goes perfectly with the light source. Pay attention to this thing so that the distance and size should match the direction, angle and distance of the light source.
Click OK
Now finish the process by leveling the layer.
Reflection shadow
The third type of shadow is a reflection shadow, which is used by photographers to give the effect of an image as if it was originally shot on a reflective surface. This adds drama to a product image by showing a blurry reflection of the product.
The steps are
First create the layer and use a white background for it.
Move this layer as suggested in the above two styles.
Create the duplicate layer.
Select the area around the bag and refine the edges.
Now shape the mask of your choice.
Invert the mask according to the selection, for example whether you selected the background or the bag.
Now the next step requires rotating the duplicated bag layer 180 degrees in such a way that one is right side up and one is upside down.
Now make the exact alignment to make the inverted bag, the reflection of the bag with the right side up.
Add the mask and then use the gradient tool. Take care of the opacity as well.
Brush the sides and top of the bag and adjust the adjustments to give a more natural look.
Now flatten the layers as a final step.
These three shadow techniques may seem difficult to apply, but once you practice them, they won't take more than minutes of your time. Thank you.
