In-Stream
The most common format, which is very similar to video advertising on TV. The video is embedded into other video content. Four methods of placement are used:
pre-roll – shown before the main plot medical mail list starts;
mid-roll – starts during the content demonstration, usually in the middle;
post-roll – plays after the end of the main video;
pause-roll – when you press pause while playing content, the video starts immediately after you resume viewing.
Typically, this format allows you to skip the ad either immediately or a few seconds after it starts.
Out-Stream
Native advertising format. Marketing information is included in the content of the video and is launched automatically, for example, after watching the video to a certain point. Playback begins when most of the video player window occupies the screen of the gadget or monitor.

Usually, such commercials have the sound turned off by default, so as not to irritate the user who is reading the content or viewing the charts. If the information is not interesting, it can be fast-forwarded.
Rewarded video
In mobile games and applications, you can often find an offer to watch an ad and get a reward for it, for example, currency that can be spent within the service. This is a rewarded video, and users usually treat it more loyally. You can refuse to watch the video.
In addition to games, rewarded videos are often uploaded in offers on fitness, dating, health, etc.
Top-line
The ad is displayed at the top of the site page when it loads. The sound is usually muted. To skip the video, simply scroll down the page.
Fullscreen
The ad appears over the main application window for a few seconds, before which it cannot be skipped. It can be annoying for the user, as it prevents them from viewing the target content.
Wow-roll
Videos with animated inserts that are located outside the main content playback area and can move around the screen area. An unconventional solution that attracts the user's attention without interfering with viewing the information they are interested in.
Keep in mind that the perception of such a format is affected by the situation in which it is shown. If the wow-roll is placed on a landing page, it will help to present the company and product more fully. If the pop-up window appears on a news site, it will cause rejection, since it does not carry the news load and only interferes with reading.
