Training in digital environments
At Smartup, we pride ourselves on collaborating with institutions that create opportunities for everyone. We want to share our experience as trainers at the Fundación Secretariado Gitano (FSG), where we have taught the Communication in Digital Environments course. This programme has been a gateway to the world of marketing, communication and social media for Roma students, many of whom only had compulsory studies. Over the course of a year, this training has become a springboard for them, helping them to continue their education and acquire skills valued in the labour market.
This course has been funded by the ivory coast number dataset Next Generation funds and the State Public Employment Service (SEPE), guaranteeing its access and scope for those students interested in advancing in this sector.
A dive into the world of digital marketing
During the course, students have explored fundamental topics in the world of digital communication:
Marketing and advertising : They have learned the fundamentals of digital marketing and its relationship to the creation of advertising campaigns that reach the target audience.
Communication and social media : They have discovered the importance of communicating effectively on digital platforms and how to adapt to different channels and audiences.
These topics have not only captured the interest of students, but have also provided them with a solid foundation for understanding how digital communication works in practice.
The training has focused on developing key skills for today's digital environment. Each skill learned has represented progress in the students' professional and personal path. Below are some of the most notable achievements:
Identifying fake news : They have understood the importance of verifying information and comparing several sources before accepting it as true. This skill, beyond the digital realm, has helped them develop critical thinking essential in the information age.
Professional expression : They have learned to communicate their ideas in a professional manner, adjusting tone and style to the context. This skill has provided them with security and confidence, aspects that will be key when interacting in the working world.
Consistency and responsibility : They have understood that effort and dedication are essential to achieve their goals. The course has allowed them to appreciate that commitment to their projects and tasks is key to professional success.
Applied practices: bringing knowledge to their communities
To consolidate their learning, each student has completed an internship managing the social networks of their autonomous community or province. This experience has allowed them to apply all the theory learned, experimenting with the management of digital communities and the development of content in real time. The internship has been an invaluable opportunity for students to understand how to adapt the knowledge acquired to real cases, working on projects that directly impact their communities.
