The development of information modeling technologies and, as a consequence, all related software products are also influenced by third-party technological trends: digital twins, cloud technologies, artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, VR/AR technologies, laser scanning, 3D printing and green building.

Analysts from CSoft found out how the top managers and company executives they surveyed see the current state of korea phone number the Russian TIM solutions market:

More than half (55.4%) said they did not have enough of
An additional survey of this group showed that they consider the main barriers to the development of Russian software to be the lack of qualified developers (39.1%), the novelty of the request for the creation of such products (35.9%) and the lack of interest of developers in their creation.
At the same time, two thirds of all respondents (47.9%) consider the main obstacle to the development of the domestic software market to be the unpreparedness of enterprises for a full transition to Russian software products due to their high cost, reduced functionality, insufficient functionality, unsatisfactory qualifications of enterprise employees, etc.
As the main measure of market support and stimulation of development of high-quality software, respondents mainly named a discount on the purchase of a software product (29.5%). Many also noted the effectiveness of state support in the form of subsidies for implementation (20.8%) and preferences for developers - marketing support and user training (19.9%)
Using Russian software
In their marketing research, analysts from CSoft report that three quarters of respondents (75.3%) use Russian software. Within this group, more than a quarter (27.2%) use Russian software as a traditional tool, and for 23.2%, these solutions have become a tool for modernizing the enterprise, which may indicate great potential for their improvement. The reason for switching to domestic TIM solutions for many respondents (43.6%) was import substitution. At the same time, 12% of respondents answered that they do not work with Russian software products at their enterprises, and 12.7% plan or do not plan to implement them.

Next, respondents using domestic IT solutions were asked to indicate the most popular classes of products used to automate management and production processes, as they are closely related to TIM solutions. Most often, surveyed users named automated design systems (67.6%) and information modeling tools for buildings and structures (55.2%). At the same time, many use several solutions simultaneously.

What kind of software is used at Russian enterprises? The top leaders from the proposed list of the most common solutions today include:

Model Studio CS on nanoCAD Platform
Compass 3D
Renga
ABViewer
T-FLEX
Most respondents who said they used these products also said they were generally satisfied with how digital solutions helped solve their company's problems (29.3%), with some being completely satisfied (24.2%).

Let us recall that 82 out of 332 respondents reported rejecting Russian software in the field of TIM in their companies. The most popular reasons for this were: imported software does not cover the company's tasks (34.1%), the functionality of Russian solutions is insufficient (28%), the cost of the product (15.9%) or its implementation (13.4%) is too high, there is no suitable product on the market to solve the tasks (14.6%).

In addition to the question about the use of specific Russian software, researchers from CSoft found out an interesting fact: the vast majority of respondents noted that their companies use these solutions in a comprehensive manner. This practice may become an additional argument in favor of creating a Russian alternative to IFC, a popular solution for integrating tools from different manufacturers, which, according to some experts, no longer fully meets the tasks of digitalizing the Russian construction industry. The second argument in favor of creating a seamless digital environment for Russian solutions is the results of the answer to the question about areas for improving Russian developments: after finalizing the product functionality (55.4%), respondents would like to see the possibility of integration with other software solutions (50.6%).
