The product name does not match the request

Post by subornaakter20 »

Issuing a product other than the one that was in the request is another sign of poor text search on the site. This also applies to global search, by the way.

For example, a user types the phrase "iron saucepan", but there is not a single matching product that contains the word "iron". He will not find anything.

To solve the problem, add the word “iron” to at&t email list the title tag and product description (that is, optimize the products for third-party search queries).

But in most cases, the search service simply fails. If your site has a custom search installed, you will have to contact a programmer to debug the script. For ready-made modules from Google and Yandex, you will have to figure out the intricacies of the settings yourself.

Availability of general requests.

General queries are those that designate an entire segment or product group, but not a specific model, article, etc.

Example: "Dell", "Huawei", "Sony".

Most likely, the authors of the requests are interested in products and spare parts of a particular brand.

It will be useful to create separate product aggregator pages for specific brands. It will be easier for visitors to navigate. In addition, this helps in ranking sites in global search for queries with the brand name.

This is just one solution. Of course, you shouldn't create separate pages for each low-frequency keyword. But it makes sense to work with branded queries.

Search for an existing section using search.

When a site has a specific section, but visitors don't get there through the menu, the navigation is frankly bad.

Analyze the menu structure on your resource from the point of view of usability. Is it structured logically? Perhaps, it should be rebuilt, focusing the user's attention on popular groups that he requests via search?

After changing the navigation, evaluate the results: what has changed in the statistics of word searches on the site? If the names of sections have practically disappeared from it, this means that people have started using the menu, and you have done everything correctly.
