The salary of the person under a professionalization

The duration of the professionalization contract is between 6 months and 1 year. But this duration can be extended up to 2 years if the qualification requires the acquisition of more skills and knowledge, or up to 3 years for young people who have left the school system, beneficiaries of RSA, ASS or AAH, and people leaving a CUI.

A schedule of 35 hours line database per week is in force, including theoretical course hours. For professionalization, a minimum of 150 hours of training must be followed, these being free.

The basic salary is increased for all persons holding a title or diploma equal to or higher than the Baccalaureate. For persons aged 26 or over, the salary cannot be lower than the minimum wage. In addition, it cannot be lower than 85% of the minimum remuneration in force within the company (see the company's contractual provisions).

As regards leave, the provisions are essentially the same as for the apprenticeship contract. Employees in training benefit from the same leave as employees of the company, but on the condition that they take it outside of training periods. Maternity/paternity or marriage leave depends on the employee's seniority.



The training ends with exams. The employee under contract may take days off to prepare for them, but this is unpaid leave and he must make an express request to his employer. If he passes, the employee may, if he wishes, terminate his contract with the employer. This termination is carried out according to the standard rules in force for fixed-term and permanent contracts.
