A representative of the press service of the Ministry of Industry and Trade told a ComNews correspondent that the implementation of the national project "Unmanned Aviation Systems" has made it possible to achieve certain changes in unmanned aviation in Russia:

It includes subsidies for end-to-end R&D, grants for certification of drones, discounts for their buyers and compensation for part of the flight hour, as well as a program for reverse engineering of components of the Agency for Technological Development.
The state has also formed a civil order for UAS, which has made it possible to determine the needs of federal authorities and institutions subordinate to them, state corporations and companies with state participation.

- Fifthly, the development of a network of research and production centers (R&P centers) is ensured. The official status of R&P centers has been assigned to 9 organizations. Two centers were created with the financial support of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, namely, the Samara and Tomsk regions. The R&P center in the Samara region will specialize in the serial production of both the drones themselves and their structural elements (electric motors, control drivers, propellers, body parts, avionics, communications, etc.), the R&P center in the Tomsk region will specialize in the production of critical components for the manufacture of UAS, including communications and control equipment, autopilots, composite parts, and rescue systems.
