Mind mapping, or spider map
To organize a brainstorming session using this technique, a special tool is used – a mental map, which is also called a “concept map” or “spider map”. The key topic of discussion is placed in the center – a goal, task or the product itself. Ideas are written around it in the form of branches or “spider legs”. If additions or clarifications appear to some hypothesis, we draw branches from this element.
