The number of social media users is growing.
VimpelCom cites data according to which the number of Facebook and Instagram users among Beeline subscribers increased by 22% from January to December 2017. At the end of December, the operator served 58.2 million mobile subscribers.
The analysis took into account representatives of the audience of these social networks who visited these Internet sites at least once a month.
According to the organization's press secretary Anna Aibasheva, the expansion of the audience may be due, among other things, to the fact that the Instagram social network has added additional functionality, in particular stories and the ability to run commercial accounts.
On average, users spend an hour and a half a day on social networks. The most time is spent on VKontakte (three hours) and Instagram (two hours). Odnoklassniki takes up an hour a day, Facebook - about 20 minutes.
There are fewer advertisements that irritate users.

Since February 2018, Yandex Browser has automatically hidden ads that do not comply with IAB Russia recommendations. As a result, the amount of marketing information that irritates the audience has decreased by 40%, and this is only in the first month of the innovation. There, 62.3% of residents use Instagram.
