73% of consumers said they have not yet created a Threads account, compared to 27% who have. Of the 27% of consumers who have created a Threads account, approximately one-third use the account weekly and another third use the account daily.
The majority (75%) of consumers say they plan to use Threads daily or weekly.
While younger generations are more likely to have a Threads account than older generations, usage among Millennials and Gen Z is slightly different. Twice as many Millennial consumers as Gen Z consumers say they use Threads on a daily basis. However, twice as many Gen Z consumers as Millennial consumers say they have an account but don’t use it.
In other words, the platform is still growing, but that means there's an opportunity to attract customers who use Threads.

Our Q4 survey shows TikTok, Facebook and Instagram are the top three platforms consumers want to use to connect with brands during the holiday customer service season. The survey also revealed that 56% of Gen Z and 42% of Millennials use new platforms like TikTok to communicate with brands.
