According to the President of NP RUSSOFT Valentin Makarov, the Russian information security market is on the rise and there is every chance to increase the current pace: "If Russia finally realizes that there is a window of opportunity for active entry into the world market and takes advantage of the prospect of taking one of the leading positions there, then in this case the growth rate of the information security segment should increase at least twofold."
: "Russian information security canada cell phone number list products are in demand on foreign markets. Russian vendors offer a quality product at a reasonable price, which, as a rule, is not inferior to foreign analogues. However, after the scandal with Kaspersky Lab, which occurred in the USA, it has become very difficult to sell Russian information security products on the markets of developed countries, so most vendors have reoriented themselves to the markets of developing countries, of which there are quite a lot - Latin America, Africa, the Middle East, Asia. Russian vendors are perceived loyally there. But this does not mean that products from Russian vendors are ready to be bought indiscriminately. Competition on these markets is strong, including with Western vendors, primarily from the USA, which have gigantic financial and organizational resources. Russian vendors have to compete honestly with other representatives on the market. At the same time, it should be noted that many succeed in competing and doing business there."
Deputy CEO of Garda Technologies Rustem Khairutdinov also believes that in neutral countries there is an understanding that Western protection can stop working at any moment at the request of the outside, so businesses are looking for ways to back up: "There is demand there, and it is growing. These are not only the countries of the former USSR, but also the countries of Southeast Asia, the Persian Gulf, Africa, Latin America - large projects are known in these regions, some of them for millions of dollars. But in unfriendly countries, in order to sell successfully, products must, so to speak, stop being Russian, completely localize, breaking ties with the Russian Federation. But even in this case, the Russian origin of shareholders will be used by competitors against the company."
Zecurion CEO Alexey Raevsky agrees with this assessment
