Why have to choose?

Post by shukla7789 »

Decisions shape everyone's life. Every day, at every moment, we are forced to make decisions (small or large) that define the course of our lives. What if the key is not having to choose?

Alonso crossed paths with Shakers
After more than a sabbatical year traveling around Australia, without worries, without obligations, without thinking beyond “today,” of adventures, of learning, of laughter, joy and connections, our companion Alonso had to choose.

At that time, he decided to return to Spain, to indonesia number dataset to the work that had been his passion before his adventure in the Antipodes.

From that choice, a new circumstance arose, and fate brought him together with Shakers . The company's ambitious goal of reinventing the future of work; the ability to add value and grow as a professional, and Shakers' commitment to caring for the motivation and happiness of its employees by achieving a real balance between their professional and personal lives, led him to take the step of embarking on a new professional adventure.

I joined the Business Intelligence team as a data analyst, which sounds better here and is called the Data Lovers Team.

And so a new stage began for Alonso. A month after returning from Australia, he began working on a project that matched his way of understanding life and the world.

A turning point
Once a month, in order to keep the team united and focus on the motivation of each one of them, Shakers carries out a culturing session. This unfiltered, sincere and transparent session helps to align the team's objectives and allows each one to choose their path in the company.

At one of the first culturing events he participated in, Alonso made another important decision for him . In a conversation with Hector, Co-CEO of Shakers, he explained the dilemma that was hovering over his head: "I love this job, but a part of me still lives in Australia . " Hector's response was: " Why do I have to choose? Why not combine the two ? "

Choosing, in this case, had nothing to do with deciding between the job that makes you happy or the life you want to live. Being left incomplete and empty with either option. In this case, the freedom to choose consisted of betting on yourself , on living the life you want, and that work is not a limiting factor, but rather one that accompanies you, makes you grow and makes you become a better person in every sense, being able to contribute and obtain better results in all areas of your life.
