One of the largest manufacturers of modern train control systems, the Moscow company Elteza, is implementing the Russian automated design system Kompas-3 D in production . The Kompas-3D system, developed by the Russian company Ascon, is used for three-dimensional design of products in various industries, including aircraft and mechanical engineering.

Along with the basic 3D design package, designers will be able to use electronic reference books of standard products, which contain ready-made 3D models of parts, units, fasteners and other design elements. In addition, specialized applications "Compass-3D" are used to design shafts and mechanical transmissions, springs, welds, cables and harnesses, stamps and press molds. Their use will significantly speed up the design preparation cycle for production.

"Russian developers often face the need for possible integration of their solutions with others. Large foreign vendors operate on a different principle - they make the transition to third-party solutions difficult, this also applies to product integration. Therefore, the undeniable advantage of Russian software is that it is more user-friendly in all respects," said Alexey Soshnikov, Deputy General Director of Elteza.
