5 good reasons to have a blog

Post by shammi88 »

Blogs are increasingly used by technology companies, and are an excellent means of business and digital communication. In inbound marketing, blogs are a critical tool in the first stage of the marketing funnel (attraction), helping the company to be found by the target audience. If you don't have a blog yet, here are 5 good reasons to create one.

The corporate blog has become a platform that teaches, provides valuable input and allows for a close and interactive relationship between the writer (company) and the uk number list reader (target). The ease and speed with which information is available (vs. printed) and the “authority” that the company can gain through the topics it addresses are other reasons that have contributed to the growing popularity of blogs. This alone justifies investing in the creation and updating of a corporate blog, but we share with you 5 other (good!) reasons:

1) Increased website traffic : each new article created is another page indexed by search engines. Hence the importance of the blog being an extension of the company's web address and ideally being integrated into its back office. This way, it is an opportunity to rise in the ranking of results for keywords related to your business, increasing the probability of being found by the target audience – more traffic and potential customers for the business.

2) Clear demonstration of know-how and experience : well-written articles (attractive title, short, clear and direct paragraphs, bullets and images) and educational articles (never commercial and promotional – these are for news and website pages) demonstrate the company’s expertise in its areas of expertise, reflecting an image of value and credibility for the target, gaining their trust and increasing interest in the company. For example, if it is a technology company focused on Business Intelligence solutions, it will not talk about its offering and the company itself, but rather about best practices and answers to the target’s main questions, doubts and concerns in this area. By revealing your expertise, you are demonstrating the ability to implement what you advocate.

3) Identifying and generating leads : include Call-to-Actions (images/buttons/text) adapted to the target audience on the blog that direct them to landing pages with forms (for example, to register for events, download eBooks, access free services), invite them to subscribe to the blog, encourage them to follow you on social media and allow you to qualify them and make them evolve in the sales funnel.

4) Greater interaction and strengthening of relationships : comments allow you to exchange opinions, learn about different points of view, clarify doubts and direct you to other types of relevant information, gaining trust and reinforcing commitment.
