Know what a portfolio is
A portfolio is basically a presentation of your work.
It can be printed: a folder, a book or even a personalized notebook.
It can be online: a PDF portfolio, a simple presentation or a professional website.
Keep in mind!
Did you know that choosing the wrong hosting can reduce your Google score, cause slowness and even leave your website vulnerable to hacks and viruses?

My focus here will be to talk about professional portfolios, such as those of freelancers, and business portfolios, such as those of agencies – but there are other types.
Portfolio examples
See some types of portfolio below:
Professional portfolio : This is a list of a professional's work, like a “resume in practice” (instead of you saying what you know how to do, you show it).
Business portfolio : This is like a professional portfolio. The only difference is that here the portfolio is of a company, not a person.
Academic or student portfolio : The purpose of the academic portfolio is to help students gather all the activities they have already completed during the course. It is usually done in chronological order, a folder with all the work that will be analyzed by the teacher at the end of the course.
