Hello, new templates! Introducing the diabetes mailing list latest templates from the Hello Bar email collection
You asked, and we listened. Meet the new Hello Bar popups, now available to all paid Hello Bar community members.

But before we get to the big reveal… Let's talk about these new developments in more detail.

You see, before we released these templates to you, we wanted to make sure they actually worked so you could start collecting emails today. And no, that doesn’t just mean checking for errors or confirming that, yes, you can click the button (don’t worry, we definitely did check – they’re in perfect working order!).

What we really wanted to make sure was that these templates were doing their job in terms of conversion.

We didn't want to give you templates that look pretty but don't actually encourage visitors to enter their email address, visit your landing page, or complete any task you set that will ultimately lead to a sale.

Here are the steps we took to create high converting email capture templates that will grow your email list and your sales.

1) We listened to you carefully.
Hello Bar is a constantly evolving tool, and we're constantly working to make it better and better. But when we thought deeply about what better means, we realized a few things.

For starters, what we think is best at Hello Bar isn't always what our community thinks is best.

With that in mind, we made it our goal to hear from as many of our community members as possible so we could create popups that would directly address your needs and desires. Why create something that people wouldn’t even want to use, right?

So, a while back we sent out a survey asking what you wanted to improve about Hello Bar. Your answers were amazingly clear – the absolute number one thing you wanted to improve about Hello Bar was more variety in the templates we offered. We hope these templates will suit your needs!

2) We created our new templates for collecting email addresses based on conversions.
Every time we release a new tool, template , or service to our community, we strive to make sure it is high quality and delivers serious results. We don't want to confuse you with extra bells and whistles if they don't actually do anything to improve your conversion rate or get you better results on Hello Bar.

So, to make sure these email address collection templates are worth it, we did a ton of research.

We looked at all the hundreds of thousands of popups created by our Hello Bar community and found out what worked best. Were there certain colors that converted better than others? Were rounded buttons better than square ones? Which image style converted best?

We discovered a few things in this study. The most important takeaway: there is no one-size-fits-all approach. The popups that converted best were those that were tailored specifically to the site they were used on.

With this in mind, we knew we had to offer a lot more templates with a much wider range of designs. Our goal was to create a template library that anyone could open, browse, and within about 30 seconds, identify a popup that suits their specific needs and site design. The simpler, the better.
