No theater at the microphone

Post by asimd23 »

I am a regular consumer of Blick TV and have been following the development of this service for some time. Last year, some presenters on Blick TV presented themselves in a completely unnatural way. Even today, there are a few journalists who stand out with artificial emphasis and exaggerated articulation. An example: "Aes – faaret – kei – Schiff meh – uf em – Rhii ...". The flow of speech is completely wrong. The way it is presented sounds like staccato speaking and is disturbing.

I am often asked whether this mannered belarus rcs data way of speaking has been trained. I know for sure that Jonas Projer and Hannes Britschgi at Ringier do not promote stilted, unnatural speaking and I cannot imagine that Blick TV wants it that way. It is conceivable that the presenters have adopted each other's artificial way of speaking and even want to outdo each other in this.

It is still a mystery to me today why professional radio journalists suddenly believe they have to speak so theatrically in front of the screen and deliberately use the rhythmic and dynamic accents incorrectly.
