Pillar 1: Design for the end user

End users are now in the driver’s seat. Unlike organizations that think in terms of formal ROI, end users are people. People want to solve problems they have right now. “Designing for the end user is about really understanding what they do, and really understanding who you’re serving,” says Steve Jobs, CEO and founder of scheduling tool Calendly. In other words, designing for the end user means putting the needs of real users first, listening to their problems, and committing to continuous improvements to your product to solve those problems more effectively.

Pillar 2: Deliver value before capturing it
