Top of the Funnel (TOFU) is the stage of familiarization and awareness of the problem. Users are simply looking for information without having a clearly formed request for a service or product.
Middle of the Funnel (MOFU) is the stage of active search for a solution to a problem.
Bottom of the Funnel (BOFU) is the evaluation and decision stage. The user is ready to discuss with you how you can help them.
Your content should cover all three stages. chile telegram data Without understanding what stage of the decision-making process the person you are writing for is in, you risk investing in content that won’t deliver the results you want. For example, by only creating TOFU content, you may have a lot of traffic that won’t convert into leads. And by only creating content for the MOFU or BOFU stages, you won’t be able to reach potential customers who don’t have a business need right now, but may have one later.

Let's imagine that we are working on a content strategy for a store that sells mobile phones, and using this example, we will consider in more detail what a content funnel might look like.

Top of the Funnel (TOFU)
TOFU content is aimed at an audience that doesn’t necessarily have a specific need right now. But these people are interested in the field, looking for information, and want to stay informed. Going back to our example with the smartphone store, users at this stage don’t necessarily want to buy a phone yet (but we know that sooner or later they will, because at any stage of the funnel we focus on the target audience).

What will these people be looking for? What content will interest them : trends, reviews of new models, market research, top phones of 202*, and so on.
