On your website you should clearly display a copyright notice with a dynamic date . This will let others know that your content is copyrighted and discourage them from stealing it.

Displaying a copyright notice will also help you if you need to file a complaint with the DCMA to take down stolen content. We'll show you how to do that later in the article.
