How the business consultant works
The franchisee must know from the moment he signs the franchising contract how much support he will receive from the parent company. During the planning phase, the franchisor must already decide how many visits he will make to the affiliated points.
It is advisable to make at least 4 visits per year, therefore 1 every quarter, dividing them into announced and unannounced visits.
Announced visits allow you to know what is the maximum level of operation that a franchisee can achieve. The latter, in fact, if aware of the visit, will do everything to be ready and band data organized. The business consultant will give him a score that goes from 0-100, so let's assume that in the announced visit he receives an 85. Unannounced visits, on the other hand, allow you to see what the constant work and daily operations of the point of sale are, because the franchisee does not expect anything and will not be perfectly prepared. Let's assume that during this visit he will obtain a score of 55.
What is the business consultant's goal in this case?
To reduce the gap between the two visits!
