What is a squeeze page? Are there any differences with an opt-in page

Post by mdabuhasan »

The squeeze page is a special landing page.

Squeeze page comes from the English “to squeeze”, that is to squeeze. Yes, squeeze the user to the last drop, figuratively of course. Squeeze him until he becomes a Customer with a capital “C”.

There is no difference between a squeeze page and an opt-in page.
The two are synonymous and indicate a page where accurate mobile phone number list the user provides his email address in exchange for a fantastic gift (called a “freebee” or “lead magnet”).

The gift must be truly useful: a PDF, a video, a podcast, a discount coupon, a freebie or anything else that can give value to your Brand.

How does an effective squeeze page work?
Here's a quick example: We are a shoe store and our website is not very well known.

On the day we offer our customers to download and print the 30% discount coupon to use in store directly from the squeeze page of the site.

We thus obtain 3 advantages:

The customer definitely returns to the store;
A relationship of loyalty is created with the customer;
We have obtained a new email address to add to the list that we will use for future sponsorships.
What types of squeeze pages are there?
There are various types of squeeze pages:

URL Address: A page similar to a landing page or website page.
Pop Up: The bar that appears while you are browsing a website. Although they are very annoying, pop ups get a high number of subscriptions.
Exit Intent: Squeeze pages that appear when a user is about to leave the site.
A squeeze page can also be inserted into a widget placed in the sidebar or bottom of our site.
