Expected for several months now and known as ViDA – VAT in the Digital Age , finally saw the light of day . The long-awaited reform is destined to have significant impacts on the activities of European and non-European companies, in terms of tax compliance and intra-Community e-reporting, the European electronic invoice and the digitalisation of processes essential to ensure compliance with the new requirements.

The reform, which has been described as one of the most bahamas whatsapp resource ambitious reforms – if not the most ambitious – in recent decades, should allow for the recovery of over 11 billion in value added tax per year in the Union.

Let's see together what the package of changes proposed by the Commission entails, the motivations behind this series of innovations and the dates to keep in mind.

Since this is a proposal, there will be an 8-week public consultation period, which will expire at the beginning of February, during which there will be the opportunity for the various stakeholders to submit questions, clarifications and suggestions. At the end of the consultation we will therefore have the final text of the reforms even if, having already been widely discussed and shared, any changes will probably be kept to a minimum.
