How to obtain the RFC with homoclave for the first time?

The only way to obtain the RFC with homoclave for the first time is through the SAT. The good news is that you can do it from their website by following this process:
Select “RFC Procedures”.
Select “Get your RFC with the Unique Population Registration Key CURP”.
Enter your CURP and a verification code (captcha).
Please confirm that your details are correct and continue if so.
Enter your zip code and fill in whatsapp number the rest of the fields with your personal information.
Answer the questionnaire on economic activities.
Download your “Single acknowledgment of registration in the Federal Registry of Taxpayers” in format (this document contains your RFC with homoclave).

1. Go to and, in the upper left corner, select the option “Individuals” or “Companies,” depending on your needs.
2. Locate the “RFC Procedures” option in the top menu and click on it.

3. Search for “Get your RFC with the Unique Population Registration Key CURP” and click.
4. You should now see a new screen where you need to enter your Unique Population Registration Code (CURP) and a verification key (captcha). Fill out both fields and press “Continue.”

5. If you are a new taxpayer, you will see your personal data. Confirm that it is correct and continue to “Step 2. Location Data.”
6. Enter your postal code so that the system can identify data such as “Entity”, “Municipality” or “Mayor’s Office”, “Locality” and “Neighborhood”. You can modify this information if necessary.
7. Enter your email address and fill in the missing fields. Check carefully that the information is correct and click “Accept”.
8. Then answer some questions related to your work activities, such as whether you receive regular or sporadic income, the type of economic activities you perform, among others. Answer as honestly as possible and then click on “Save questionnaire” and “Confirm.”
9. If you followed the steps above, you should see a message indicating that your process has been completed and you will receive your “Single Acknowledgement of Registration in the Federal Registry of Taxpayers” in .pdf format. Don’t forget to download it!
10. If you have already processed your RFC with homoclave previously, then you will see this message: “ The captured CURP already exists in the taxpayer registry with the RFC: xxxxxxxxxxxxx. If you want a communication to be generated for printing, click on continue and enter your contact address, otherwise click on cancel to close the session ”. If the information is correct, click on “Continue” and obtain your acknowledgment.
