In any business, it is important to clearly understand your target audience . Content marketing is no different from other methods of collecting a client base. It is not just the number of people who will see your material that is important, but how comoros company email list many of them really need this information. The purpose of publications is to attract a potential client.

Perhaps you have already found yourself in a situation where you try to distribute useful and interesting materials, invest effort, time, and it seems like the audience reach is large enough, but there is no practical benefit from it. This is a fairly common mistake - your message reaches the wrong recipients.

Target audience

Choose those who will be interested in your topic and useful for business

The target audience must bring profit to the company.

In order to understand who makes up your target audience (hereinafter referred to as TA), you need to clearly segment all suitable groups into:

income-generating;
those who can bring profit, but the percentage is small;
those who are related to your business area, but will never become a client.
Your target audience is the first group. Potential buyers from the second and third categories are a related audience. It will not be as useful and noticeable for business. Of course, you can also distribute materials to the second group, but do not expect much return from this.

It is easier to create content for a wide range of Internet users, including related audiences. People who run a specific business are often too busy, they have clearly defined goals and schedules. It will be difficult to catch their attention and influence their decision-making, but it will be much more converting than simply dispersing information to the masses.

Example of an error in defining the target audience:

A luxury yacht building company writes articles for other companies, but should be aimed at large businessmen who are interested in yachting or already have vessels of this format.
