From January 1, 2025, bloggers with an audience of more than 10,000 subscribers who do not comply with Roskomnadzor's requirements will face a number of restrictions. They will not be able to post:

calls for funding, such as requests for paid subscriptions or donations;
advertising.
Other users will be prohibited from bangladesh telegram number database istributing information from such a page.

In addition, Roskomnadzor may theoretically require blocking an account for non-compliance. Article 10.6 of the Law on Information, which is being amended, contains obligations for social network owners. In particular, they must, at the request of Roskomnadzor, restrict access to pages that have not completed registration, and provide user data at the request of Roskomnadzor or the FSB.

What are the risks for advertisers?
As we have already said, owners of pages with an audience of more than 10,000 subscribers who do not provide information to Roskomnadzor will be prohibited from posting ads. According to some lawyers, publishing advertising content on such pages is a rather risky undertaking for the advertisers themselves. Roskomnadzor can block a page if the owner does not provide the necessary information. Therefore, it is important for businesses to assess potential risks before cooperation. Before posting an ad, you need to make sure that the ad will stay on the page for the planned time and that the channel or public will not be suddenly blocked.

How this will work in practice is still unclear, but most likely, the ban on advertising will be a problem for page owners.
