The Ultimate Guide to SEO Positioning for Content

Post by shukla7789 »

There are people who believe that if they want to succeed on the Internet they must write for Google. This is perhaps one of the most damaging SEO myths. The truth is that when it comes to writing content for your website, the only person you should think about is the users. After all, what they like is what the search engines like. That is why I have prepared this small SEO Guide for content that I hope will be useful to more than one person.

When it comes to SEO, content is the most important piece. That is why in this short guide, we will see in a simple way the most important parameters to achieve SEO-friendly content so that our website receives more visits from traffic referred through search engines.

SEO Guide for Content
Before starting, for those who do not know exactly what SEO is, I job seekers database reading a post that appeared on the blog some time ago: what is SEO positioning and what is it for ?

If you already know what positioning is all about, let's continue.

Keyword search
Before starting to generate any type of content, it is best to conduct a search to find out what the internet search trends are and the number of times the keywords in the text are searched in Spanish.

For this, I recommend using two tools:

Keyword Tool : This is found within Google Adwords and is essential when choosing a URL, title, meta and keywords (I explain each of them a little further down) optimized for SEO. Once we access this free tool provided by Google, we can search for our keywords and refine them by various filters: minimum monthly searches, country, language...

In another blog post I explain in more detail how to do a keyword study . I recommend you read it.

Google Trends : This tool allows you to find out the tastes and search trends for certain keywords. It is good to know if they are on the rise or fall and if they are searched more in certain months or seasons. For example, obviously, during allergy season there will be much more searches for them than in the rest of the months, or in summer there will be more searches for places to go on vacation.

SEO Writing
Once we have the keywords to target clear, it is time to start generating the content. When doing so, we must take into account the following parameters:

Titles or Title
The title appears in the browser bar and is also the most important phrase in organic searches on search engines. In order to be used correctly for SEO, it must have a maximum of 70 characters and contain our keywords (those by which customers will search for us). The more keywords the title has, without reaching 70 characters, the better. We must bear in mind that the title is a call to action, since it will largely determine whether or not the user chooses our content when performing a search on any search engine.
