Page views/bounce rate

Post by shaownhasan »

Google Analytics measures data for a variety of items, but the data that are directly affected by double measurement are " page views " and " bounce rate ."
Page views are the number of times a page is viewed.
Bounce rate is the percentage of sessions in which a user leaves the board members email lists site (bounces) after viewing only the first page they entered on the site .
Bounce rates are generally between 50% and 70%, but if the number is lower than that, it is possible that double measurement is occurring. Specifically, pages with a bounce rate of less than 20% are likely to be double measured, so it is best to check .

The bounce rate is explained in detail in the following article. Please read it as well.

Problems caused by double measurement
If Google Analytics measures twice, it will not be able to accurately measure user behavior.
When measuring twice, the data that "a user viewed a page" is sent twice to Google Analytics, so the number of page views is measured as double the actual number .
Also, as mentioned above, the bounce rate is the percentage of sessions in which a user viewed only one page and then left the site, but since the number of page views for the first page visited is measured as two, a session in which a user viewed only one page and then left the site does not occur, and the bounce rate is measured as lower than the actual number .
