A phenomenon that many of us have wanted to study and learn the history of this famous rubber duck store.

The beginnings of the idea
The venture arose in the midst of the pandemic, while the founders were locked down in quarantine. They organized their ideas and took the step to implement the idea that had emerged on a family trip to Europe a few years ago.

They had several references in mind from some job seekers database they visited on vacation and wanted to bring them to their city, Puerto Varas. In love with the concept of rubber ducks, they created Duck House .

Part of the company's mission is to bring a little joy to everyone who enters its store, "we created our brand in a time of great uncertainty, in the middle of a pandemic...for us, it is essential to give our customers a different experience, so that after visiting the store they leave with a smile, that is our greatest satisfaction," says its founder.

This is the expression we hear every day from visitors who enter our store or pass by it. It was this same expression that caused us as a family on a trip to Europe, where we discovered this type of store and became lovers of ducks.

The beginnings were not easy, since despite the context in which the country was living, the idea was unusual and many of his acquaintances commented that the business that Giovanni had in mind was crazy... Despite the initial criticism, he persevered with his venture, which is now a success.
