Before we get into the different ways to restore WordPress from a backup, let’s discuss the steps you need to take first.
Of course, you should already have a backup of your WordPress site ready to use. You can learn more about this in our guide on how to back up a WordPress site .
If your backups are stored in a remote location such as Dropbox, Google Drive , or OneDrive, you can download your backup files from those locations to your computer.
In addition, you may also need to delete old WordPress files and do a fresh install. If your site was infected with malware, had corrupted files, or was missing something, it will be automatically removed and cleaned up.
Remember that you should only do this if you are sure that your backup is up to date and you have saved all your customizations and uploads.
You can delete files using cPanel or FTP. If you have the list of vietnam cell phone number option, we recommend using cPanel as it is faster.
Simply log into the cPanel of your hosting dashboard. Then, under the Files section, click on the File Manager icon.

To do this, simply connect to your website using an FTP client. Then, select all the files in your WordPress root directory, right-click on the screen and select the “Delete” option to remove them.
