Which models are currently available on the market?

There are some models or providers that provide such models. However, the range is manageable - especially in the commercial sense. One can currently speak of an oligopoly here. As of today (March 23, 2023), there are only a handful of commercial enterprise-ready service providers. To put it correctly: Commercial availability means that a product or service has successfully completed the alpha and beta phases and meets the quality requirements for a general release. This also includes the ability to guarantee business conditions such as availability of the products or services and to meet industry standards in terms of security. These include, for example, Microsoft and their OpenAI Endpoint for ChatGPT, GPT-3, -4 as well as Alphabet (Deepmind, Anthropic) with PaLM variants or Claude.

The European counterpart is the Luminous models from Aleph Alpha. BLOOM is an open source fundamental model that was developed together with independent scientists and the American company Hugging bolivia consumer email list​ Face . In Asia, notable (enterprise-ready service) offers are on the way from the South Korean company Naver (with a platform concept with the product HyperClover LLM platform).

Aside from the models, there are other very interesting variants: for example, models that have been trained on the basis of protein sequences and can thus predict protein structures. These include ESMFold from MetaAI or AlphaFold from Deepmind/Alphabet. In addition, there are models that primarily deal with the generation of images - including Midjourney and Stable Diffusion.

This diagram will certainly become outdated relatively quickly – probably weekly. However, it is intended to be more of an overview and, ultimately, the origin of the models remains the same.
